I unhooked my 2 12 volt batteries and now can't figure out how to hook them up. THERE 2 RED POSITIVE CABLES and 5 black cables. Anyone out there know how they go.

In the future, take a picture of these type of things with your phone. Im not sure why there would be five black wires. Here is a page showing the proper hookup for two 12 volt batteries.

Between each battery pos. post will be a jumper cable. Same for the 2 neg. posts.

That leaves 1 black neg. cable that goes to chassis ground.

Take a few pictures and post here. Maybe we can make heads and tails of your cables.

Example of Two 12V Batteries wired in parallel

1 POS cable connecting the 2 batteries POS posts (Red)
1 POS cable that feeds RV DC System (Red)

1 NEG cable connecting the 2 batteries NEG posts (Black)
1 NEG cable that connects to RV Frame for ground (Black)

That leaves 3 Black wires which should be smaller diameter then the 2 Black Battery Cables above

You will need to identify what those are used for....could be POS for DC Power to AUX equipment.
Follow the Black wires and check if they have in-line fuses/DC circuit breakers etc. IF so...they go on POS battery posts

Are you sure they are 12v batteries in that coach?

Sorry I should have looked to see that you had a Tropical with two 12v batteries. Assuming you were talking about chassis batteries.
