Battery disconnect sporadic operation

When I work the switch for battery disconnect on my 2003 Dolphin it will not work most of the time. I was told the problem is a bad interconnect solenoid. Has anyone else had that problem? If so, what is a source for a replacement?

Gee, Mine worked exactly 1/2 the time.. Yup, when I pushed STORE on my Intelletec battery control center control panel it worked perfectly.. When I pressed USE. it worked,.... not at all.

Turned out to be a dirty switch.. Now I won't bore you with the trouble shooting procedure which involved downloading and reading the service manual, Mostly because you should download and read the manual for yourself and yours may be different.

But what I ended up doign is removing power from the switch and cycling it like 50 times, both USE and STORE sides, then restoring power and it worked.

The switch is self cleaning, provided it does not get TOO dirty that is.

Like many things, a bit of exercise from time to time keeps it fit and happy.
