2006 Dolphin 5320 went to put slide out and nothing happened other than a clicking noise. The last time it was opened was in October and worked just fine. Anyone ever have this problem and if so what did you do to fix problem.

I'm not sure if our 2005 uses the same mechanism, which in ours is under the bed.
Is there the sound of the slide motor turning ? If only a clicking sound, where does it
seem to come from? In ours, the slide motor power relays click when the slide button is pressed and are on a circuit board in the front passenger basement compartment with power inverter.

Ours is under the bed also and motor does not sound like it is engaging. The clicking sound seems to be coming from the motor its self.

I don't think I can help. I've had trouble with our gear mechanism ,brass gear teeth broke off , broken pin thru shaft/gear , and finally one relay was intermittent. However, the motor itself always worked. With our gear and pin problems, the motor would spin but the slide wouldn't move.

We finally accessed the motor and manually attempted to open and at the same time pushed the control button. After several tries the motor engaged and the slide opened. We have opened and closed several times. Not sure what locked up motor but is working now.

That's a real good way to get hurt, glad you weren't. The slide brake probably wasn't disengaging.

Not sure if you issue is the same as what we had. Ours was jammed at the top of the slide where the frame slides on teflon blocks. This is a poor design IMO, and the manufacturer did a poor job of installing the blocks, which require 3 2.5" wood screws to secure to the plywood base. We found the teflon block on the left had only 1 screw holding it in place and after 9 years of use had finally worked itself loose and jammed the slide from moving. We had to remove the bed frame and reattach the teflon block. See photos.

If yours is working maybe this is not the issue. But if the same design you want to check your slide teflon blocks, just to be on the safe side. Please be sure to be secure the heavy bed frame prior to any work. Ours did not have gas struts to keep it elevated and even if it did I would not trust it. They are just too heavy, so please be careful.
