Bedroom slide roller locations
1..How many rollers on the 2005 Dolphin on the bedroom slide, and
2..are they located near the outside wall?
3..My slide has a solid bottom made out of the thin fibreglass looking stuff. and part of it had been torn out, and I am looking for a FIX, not a floor replacement.
Suggestions??..here is a couple of pictures...PICTURES NEED TO BE ROTATED TO THE RIGHT. AS MARKS ARE ON BOTTOM OF SLIDE

Gdlow:
I saw these slide plates (on another thread). They are used to prevent & repair the kind of damage you have and I've been considering adding them to my slide as I'm starting to see the impact of my rollers on the bottom of the slide.

Gdlow see discussion in other thread, but some use nylon blocks and some use rollers. Which floor plan do you have?

I’ll take that as a “5342” then, assuming your closet goes out with the bed slide giving you that dressing area between closet and bath when it’s out.
Your slide runs in and out on rollers, not pucks.
If one of the rollers seized or something I can see that narrow contact point messing up the underside of the slide.
In the other thread I described where the rollers are approximately located.

My 05 Dolphin 5355 doesn't have rollers it has nylon blocks. I ran the slide almost all the way out and using a 2x6 and a piece of 4x4 I jacked the slide op about 2" and you can see the slide bars. They are only a couple of inches inside the wall. I have been considering putting something a little more substantial under there for it to slide on.

You will probably have to do a method such as speed racer described in order to actually access them and inspect/replace/contemplate.

The 5342 Dolphin has 3 rollers and from the "impressions" or wear under the bedroom slide you will see where they are located. They are near the outside wall. With the bed lifted, you might be able to see 2 of them with the third one under the closet. I don't think a roller would be seized. Water leaking from the slide roof down into the slide floor has rotted the wood sheet under the fiberglass sheet. The glue holding the fiberglass to the wood sheeting let go when the wood got wet and rotted. The weight of the slide room and the slide rolling in and out caused the fiberglass to crack & tear. The damage on mine wasn't as bad as yours and I covered the damaged area with a metal plate. Read Chuck Q's solution on this thread:

At the end of the bed I see a roller and a block of nylon. What I don't understand is way the slide makes so much squeaking noise goin in and out. When going out the motor actually stops and you have to let it rest a bit before trying again. I'd sure appreciate any advice.

Rick, our 6375 doesn't have rollers, just nylon blocks. When the slide squeaks , I lift the bed to access the slide mechanism, use silicon spray on the nylon block directly under the bed. You could wax the underside of the slide.

Just to make sure on something before I talk to Talin about their guard plates...
“ALL of the rollers are located toward the side sidewall of the slide so that if I measure the depth of the slide, the guardian plates will cover the rollers when operating? Am I correct?
Thanks
