Bedroom Slideout motor replacement

Just like Crawdad1situation, my shaft on the motor broke when the bolt holding the motor came loose and backed out onto the gear freezing the gear causing the shaft to break. $900 for a little motor seems like a rediculess price to pay. are there any alternatives. slide out stuck in open position. 2005 Dolphin 38' Motor is Von Weise Model V05726BA788.

Slide Motor Replacement

I agree on the price. I just replaced mine. My replacement is a direct drive to the rack on the ram. It eliminates that set-up of gears. The replacement is working great. 2005 Sea Breeze on Ford Chassis

I just had my entire bedroom slide assy replaced last year and I still have the motor from the old assy. It is the motor for the RBW assy. Nothing wrong with the motor, it was the gear problem(s). You can find my post about the repair and see pictures of the old assy and see if that is the motor that your looking for.

This message is for YO (Ed) my motor is VO5726BA88 it has the half shaft and is the internal drag brake meaning it only has one set of wires coming out of the motor. If you can help me with this I sure would appreciate it. USCG retired Jon S. 253-533-0213
