Blasting air from hot water tank

National Sea Breeze 2005

I have bled the water lines a number of times, but I still constantly get blasting air and water from the hot water line. We've been in pretty cold weather so I am almost always filling the tank and then disconnecting the hose... so pumping from the tank. The water pump seems to come on occasionally throughout the day and night and run for five seconds or so. Is air somehow getting into the line. Any suggestions?

Sounds like some type of leak. Check to see if the pump check valve is bad, water heater leaks (drain or pop off valve)

or (cold water) there's a leak in the commode allowing it to drain to your black tank (and not see a leak)

Just some thoughts.

Look real hard at the connections comming from the tank to the pump. If there is a lose connection, the pump will suck air into it. It could be as simple as the pump intake strainer, if you have one.
