Blowing Fuses

2005 dolphin 5320, bedroom slide keeps blowing fuses, checked board ,seems ok, switched relays with living room slide still blowing fuses, motor isn't getting hot, gears look ok, sometimes you can run it 3 or 4 times before blows other times blows after sliding out once. any ideas?

One, lube everything. Two, buy a circuit breaker for that circuit so you don't have to change the fuse so much.

Check all connections on that circuit for corrosion.

Given that a short circuit if some sort is the cause, the next step is to locate it and repair the wire(s) or connection point(s).

You know it is in the bed room slide circuit, not the relay/fuse.
You have evidence that it may not be the motor. (Can't rule it out unless all of the wiring & connections are sound, then...).
You have evidence that it is intermittent, but related to the movement of the slide.

I'd look for pinched wiring, or connections that are worn or frayed. It seems that on some occasions the wiring keeps the circuit working as intended (insulated from "ground") and sometimes not.

Then again it may be a case like the Red Headed League. (Case Book of Sherlock Holmes)

Here's a left field suggestion...... is it the right size fuse? I've chased these type of problems before and found that someone put a fuse "that fit" in after blowing the original. Now you're chasing a problem that isn't really a failure. Just a maybe.......

As mentioned, maybe someone replaced circuit breakers with fuses that are blowing too easily.

30 amp is what it says on the board, i did put 30 amp breaker in but have not had a chance to see how that works, lounge fuse is also 30 amp with no problem.
