Broken Body Brace 2005 Seabreeze LX

In front of and above the right front wheel is a brace from body to frame.
The original was rebar and broke first at the bottom weld, them at the top weld then in the middle. Replaced with 2" square tubing, now has broken first at the top weld, then at the bottom weld. It seems the body flex is too strong for this brace. Only downside seems to be a grinding sound when traveling after it has broken.
Has anyone else had this issue? I'm tempted to just remove it.

Thanks

Sounds like what recently happened on our 2019 3124 Bay Star. We hit an invisible "bump" on a SoCal highway and it broke a weld. We had it repaired, hope it holds. Personally, I would add bracing rather than remove it. Removing may cause more problems.

Mine is currently in storage, so I can't look to see the brace or what it's connecting to or supporting. However, that brace should be there to stiffen the body and should not be under heavy load unless something pushes on the body. My thought is that this is a sign something else is wrong/broken. I'd take a good look at the surrounding body connection to the chassis.
