Broken side-view mirror glass

Well, I managed to break one of the mirrors on my passenger side-view mirror. Don't ask how it happened.....it's way too embarrassing.

Soooo....I'm looking for the manufacturer of the mirror assemblies that National purchased from. Hopefully, they are still in business and have spare parts. Anyone out there have a name and/or contact info??? Much appreciated in advance.

Mine is Velvac and I was able to find parts at this link after an encounter with a narrow bridge.

For the price from the mfg I would get a hold of The Gambler in Victorville, CA or his shop in Quartzsite. I saw mirrors there for $100.00 a few weeks ago. google The Gambler in Quartzsite. Or contact a local glass house for the glass.

Go to the Velvac site, search for glass replacement, I suspect the glass kit is less than $50.00.

This might be your part:

I have replaced a few. Not a fun job, but it is not that difficult. The big thing is the remote motor and support is plastic. It is easily broken. Just go slow and work the glass off carefully.
