Charger jumps on???

05 Dophin with xantrex 458 50 amp charger. I charge the batteries with the solar system, but starting yesterday the charger turns on without my help. Where do I start investigating the cause?.

Define what you means turns on by itself. Charger is available any time it has ac input, shore or gen.

I keep the batteries charged with solar, never us the charger, but lately the charger turns on all by itself. I turn it off with the remote and then later it turns back on.

If you truly want it off open the basement hatch behind the front right wheel and turn it off there.

Not sure, unplugged the remote and it stopped the charger auto turn on, plugged it back in this AM and still working properly, so will give it some more time, tomorrow AM. Will post results.

Problem reaccured after rebooking up the remote to the 458. So it looks like the remote has a glitch. $112 on Amazon.
