Checking the converter and inverter.

I know I've seen this question answered before but I can't seem to find the answer.
I have a recently purchased 2004 Dolphin 5342 and I want to verify that my converter and inverter are working properly.

My converter is a Parallax Power Components Model 7455

My Inverter is a Dimensions Model ADI-12W8R3T 800 Watts

Any info would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance 2445 aka Mike

Converter is easy. Unplug from shore power and check voltage at the batteries. It should read 12.8 - 13.2. Plug in shore power check voltage at batteries. It should now read 13 .4-14.5. If your batteries are fully charged you may not see much of a difference but there will be some.

Inverter is easy too if you know what it is wired to power. Unplug from shore power. Make sure inverter is turned on. Check for 120v a/c at the plug/s in is wired to. If you have a residential fridge that will be it. If you have any 120v a/c power anywhere in the coach (some lights may be 120v only) while not plugged into shore power your inverter is working.

If you know where the devices are mounted and you have access to them there it may be easier to test them at the output points but it takes a little more familiarity with electrical to do that.

Inverter:
TV plug is wired to the inverter output. With no shore or generator, no TV. Switch on the inverter The TV comes on.

Converter : I'm doing these measurements by flipping the circuit breaker off and on.

Circuit breaker on, I have measured it several times over the last few days and get readings of 13.70, 14.40 and 15.00

Circuit breaker off, I get readings of 14.50, 14.66 and 15.07

I might be getting input from the solar panel. As the Astronauts said before their trip to the sun, No problem we're going at night. I'll try it tonight.
