For the life of me I cannot see where to adjust the door latch. I don't know why but in order to get the entry door to close completely you have to slam it very hard. This bugs the dw then she yells at me and you get the picture things go down hill from there. I have tried letting it close then pulling real hard to finish the latch but now I
have loosend the handle. Where am I going wrong?

Hi Brian,

I suspect your Tropi-Cal door is the same as our 03 Tradewinds. The entire striker in the door frame has to be removed in order to adjust the in/out position. Remove (unscrew) the striker pin in the door jamb, then from inside the coach, remove the black plastic cover and then the screws holding the striker in place. Once removed, the position of pin can be adjusted. Somewhat hard to discribe, but will become evident once removed. The adjustment is somewhat trial and error. With the striker removed from the door frame, I would mark the current position before making any change so you have a reference point. Hope this helps.

Thanks Ken. I have the motorhome at the house right now doing the Allison filter/Transynd change so may have a chance to adjust it before it goes back to the storage lot.

Some times it helps to just spray some silicone on the lock and sticker.

Ahh! Try the easy things first. That makes sense. Thought about using oil but it gets on your clothes. Had not thought about silicone even though I carry it for the jacks.
