I have a 2005 6355 on a WH chassis and have had very few problems with it in 27K miles. You mite check the storage compartment doors to see if the fiberglass is comming loose from the styrafoam inside. I just made an L bracket to hold mine together. Work Horse has had an ongoing recall on the brake calipers and are manufacturing the replacments now so make sure you registeras with WorkHorse as the new owner if you buy it. We realy like the floor plan and the ride and handling of our MH. Good Luck.

I have with mine . Their is a brake recall pending which will replace sticky calipers. The rotors pads and oil seals would likely be at your expense.

These items might not have to bereplaced but if the calipers were dragging could have been damaged. I still would not rule out the camper. Anything used is likely to have one or two items. defective.

Look at the bedroom slide drive unit if you can. If it is a RBW-Alko, it may have a worm gear type of reduction. Many have had problems with the worm gear teeth breaking or wearing down because the material was too soft. I am about $800 into replacement cost and keeping my fingers crossed.
An '04 is right at the edge for OEM tire life.
If it has a small solar panel, 90% chance it won't work.
What kind of TV sets? Old tube types are due for replacement. If RCA brand, they may self destruct (both mine did).
Actia display (LCD readout for odometer and diagnostics) in speedometer prone to become illegible.
No real biggies and no worse than any other brand. As you can see, almost all issues are with components and not the coach itself. NRV made good coaches.

No I haven't had any brake problems but I service my brakes every year and replace the brake fluid every other year. I can honestly say I haven't had any mechical problems. The rear TV went out two winters ago so I replaced them both with LCD TVs. The VCR/DVD player went bad last winter so I replaced it with a DVD recorder. I also removed the built in water Presure regulator at the city water conector and use a whole house regulator and water filter at the water fauset that I got at Lowe's. I am replacing the matress this year with a memory foam matress. I had to order it because it cant be more than 9" thick to go under the closet when the slideout is in.

I bought an 06 Dolphin LX 34 footer with 11,000 mi. So far: Leaking ice maker seal, water pipe in shower broke, several cabinet latches needed replaced, solar panel does not work, outside body panels have fasteners beginning to show through the paint, front corner body panel screws fell out and had to be replaced, both the front AND rear axle seals went bad, and lastly... a nitrous gas shock on one of the storage compartments popped loose and dented the campartment cover next to it. And I've only taken it on two trips so far. I'll be trading mine in for a better quality coach as soon as I can afford it.

Hi Ray,
We just purchased a used (repo) Dolphin 5342 and love it. There were several small things that required attention but I am very handy and fixed most for a minimum of cost. This is my 2nd National product. We had a 1995 Dolphin 533 that we loved to death. It was in GREAT shape and ran like a top. The guy that bought it loves it almost as much as we did. I my opinion you can beat a National product for the price.
Good luck with your purchase. ~ Bill

Toad Tracking Problem
The previous owner of a 2004 Dolphin 6355 that I may buy has indicated a tracking problem with towed vehicle when a 18 wheeler passes. The toad moves back and forth sideway fairly abruptlly. Has anyone experienced this problem or how did you solve the problem? The towed vehicle was a Jeep Libery and the trailer hitch had an extension for bicycles, etc. He is not experiencing the same problem with his new MH with the same set-up. Any thoughts?
