Good luck, glad you are good to go.

If using a cheap extension cord, that also throws in more potential connection problems into the mix as well as voltage drop. When power was lost, did you ever go back to the outlet and confirm there was still power there? Certainly possible the vacuum tripped the breaker or GFI.
On the other hand, a transfer switch can work one time and not the next. It would be nice to know if the shop just plugged it in, it worked so no problems. Or, did they switch between genny and shore 10 times, remove the cover on the transfer switch, inspect the components and contacts.
At this point it falls in your lap as to how and if you confirmed power at the outlet and all connections to your coach's power cord.

Sorry to say, no cheap cord here, granted there are two 50amp cords hooked to a 30amp cord which at the very end is an adapter to a 15amp. I'm thinking that i wore out this outlet. None the less i have one question for any of you very wonderful people, correct here if i'm wrong, a 50amp shore line cord has 4 wires, and a 30amp shore line cord only has three(3), true or false?

I see no problem then with the cords as long as the all connections were good (and you have a lot) 50>50>adapter>30>adapter>20, but you certainly wouldn't have any voltage drop. In all my 60+ years I can honestly say I've never seen a "wore out outlet". I have seen them burnt and overheated/melted do to certain problems. Easy enough to check, just go plug something into it. If your knowledgable enough, take it apart and inspect it.

True. 50A has two hot 50a wires (100 amp total) 1 neutral and a ground. 30a has one hot, a neutral and a ground.
