Cruise control
Anyone out there can help?
2001 National Caribbean on a Spartan chassis, cummings diesel pusher!
My cruise does not work, I checked the fuse in the compartment under the drivers seat, checked the brake switch everything checks good. I can not find any other fuses or breakers, without a schematic of some type.
Help!!

Have you tried Spartan Motorhome Support , for wiring schematic.
Have your serial number and call.
1-800-543-4277
Freightliner is slowly discontinuing support of older (20+year) chassis , hopefully Spartan isn't.
Do you have a smart wheel?

Has it ever worked for you?
I ask because in another thread I was following, the poster had some work done at a Cat dealer and that involved updating the ECM (reflash), ending up with a non operating cruise control.
Turns out some items are selectable in the programming, cruise function being one of them.
I know you have a Cummins, but consider this just some food for thought.

I've seen several post where tail/brake lights have been upgraded to led's without a resistor and the cruise control fails. Just a thought!

Wild Guess......check your ABS sensors at the wheels. Broken or dirty

Our condition was caused by improper micro switch adjustment on the brake pedal.

Hopefully you got your cruise fixed up already. But if not, here is what I found on mine. Traced down the wires from the cruise handle.Below the steering column I found the cruise wires crossed over top of this metal bracket. The wires are a small gauge and the red happens to be power I believe. Reattached them and had cruise again.
