Dolphin 434

OK guys...I have a stupid question. I bought a 1994 Dolphin 434 motorhome a while back and it been great. The problem is that my wife loaned it to some friends while I was on the road for work and when I got home I found that they had left all the vents and windows open (in the rain) giving me some woodwork and flooring to repair. They also left all the switches and power on draining all the batteries and that's where the stupid question comes in. I can't find the batteries, chassis or house batteries. I've opened every compartment and panel and don't see where the heck they are located. The manual doesn't really show anything except a circuit schematic. Anyway, I'm either dumb, blind or both but any help would be appreciated to give me a clue where to look.

Thanks

Did you look under the entrance steps?

Well sort of. That was one of my thoughts but I don't see a way to access the underside. I did look from the compartment just in front of them but don't see anything there that would be hiding the batteries. Thanks,

If you haven't found the batteries yet, the entrance step is hinged and lifts up.
