I have pondered this for years re my 5342. (6342?)

Measured and contemplated, ec. Ultimately I decided to pass on the level of rework. I really wanted it in the closet, but even reworking the closet, which is feasible, would not address a number of fitment issues, never mind the hassle of plumbing and wiring everything to a slide that is not open at the bottom such as the LR unit is.........

Also determined that the depth is much too much for the wall opposite the bed.

So, I will watch and read with great interest, but I'm not holding my breath.

I was hoping to put it in the closet on the opposite side of the bed. Guess that's out. I think it would be too much trouble to put it on the slide out.

No drawers in hallway. No hallway, actually. Our bedroom slides encompass the curb side from adjacent to the refer all the to the back of the coach. When open it is a dressing room area and double closet. Dunno dimensions. Nice size floor space though. Anyway that means if you are standing looking at the refer, to your right is an open room-like area.

When we were talking about the closet, it's a, I dunno, about a 6' wide double-sliding door affair. It isn't as deep as RV W/D units, so there are concerns about access to the back of the coach when slide is in if there was a washer there. Plus the slide is a closed up box and not readily accessible. That's fine, but it exacerbates the level of rework to get all the mechanicals configured.

The OP was pondering replacing one of the corner units on the driver's side at the end of the bed. For that wasn't appealing. We decided we didn't want that trade off. The bed closes in tight to the cabinets at the foot. I have not measured (or if I did I don't recall the results) regarding removing the corner cabinet unit. Water access would be straightforward as the fwd cabinet is right above the water distribution center.

I'm at the MH now, curbside closet is 4' X 2' but that was ruled out already.
Drivers side cabinet, at the smaller side is 22" deep and only clears the bed by an inch or so with the slide in, so I think that a W/D is out in this model coach.
