Anyone had this problem and know how to id the manufacturer without removing the window? All suggestions and idea gratefully accepted! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I had a bedroom window on the same year model replaced 2 years ago due to window frame damage. I kept all the removed window frame and glass parts. I just went out to see if the frame had any id's. Only thing on it was a sticker with a bunch of numbers that seem to be related to NRV inventory. Don't know if these numbers would be meaningfull to you since it is an entirely different window from the drivers side. However it too does have the same clamping rubber that is used on all windows except the rear cap. At the time of replacement, NRV and the repair shop I used had a difficult time getting the right window. Finally I noticed the sticker on the damage window and got that to NRV parts. That gave them what they needed to get the right window sent out.
PM me if you need/want those numbers.
