Door whistle

2001 tradewind
I asked a question before and got the correct answer, but did not understand till. After I found it myself. I wish I had understood what I was told. I wish I had understood and listened.

New question
How do I improve the closing of the outside door so it is quieter when driving. Can I replace the rubber around the door?
Is the latch adjustable? (some are)
I think the top latch may not work but the lower or one near the handle works but from the outside you can push the door quite a bit.

The howling while driving may drive my wife crazy as we plan to drive across Canada in the spring

See if you can move the strike plate inward to make the door tighter. Does the weather seal appear to be in good shape?

Door Whistle

I replaced the weather stripping inside the screen door which solved the rattle and whistle issue for me. The existing foam rubber was shot.
I moved my striker plate too but ended up with it back where it was. Don't forget there are two striker plates in the door.

Got D shape weather stripping from Amazon, inexpensive fix.
