Dophin Hot Water Tank Drain Plug

I have a 2006 Dolphin and I would like to drain my hot water tank to remove any possible sediment. My problem is that I cannot find the drain plug, nor do I know where my tank would be. I have a neighbor that has a Tropi-Cal and he has an outside panel that provides easy access to his plug, but I do not have any similar outside panel anywhere. Does anybody know where my plug might be located?

Thanks for any help,

Ok, I'm following , because I've never seen an RV without the water heater access panel .

Just a thought , can you start the water heater on propane , and track the heater down by the noise from the propane flame.

Open the compartment which houses the water heater.

You should be faced with a metal panel, and there is a little metal clip near the top of that metal panel. Line up the clip (it turns) with the slot and open that cover.

The top pic below is actually sideways, but the clip is hard to see and adjacent to the silver grill.

At the bottom is the white drain plug. 7/8 socket to remove.

Follow up to my above, your water heater compartment should be the 2nd to last compartment on the drivers side, with the metal vent grill peeking through the compartment door. Open that door, it probably has no struts to stay up, so rest it on your head (you are not alone in doing that). From there the pics above apply.
