Dophin solar panel

Hi, everyone (first post) I'm looking for an electrical drawing that shows where the solar panel connects to the charging system on a 2005 5320 coach. I don't get a solar charging light at the panel inside the unit and the solar panel looks in good condition. the wires enter the through the cover on the refrigerator but I can't see where they go from there. Any help would be appreciated.

On my 03 Dolphin the wires connect to the BBC. You may need to find the diagram for your BCC to find out where they land. My solar panel is junk, may not replace it. As small as it is, don't know how it could do much anyways.

On my 2005 Dolphin 5342, the wires went thru the roof and tied right into the light fixture under it inside the coach. The SP was junk 10 years ago. Never replaced it.

I think it is too small to be of any use. If you want solar to charge and maintain the batteries I recommend two or three 120 to 150 watt panels with a solid controller. Not a big deal to install; just takes time and some contortion to pull wires to the batteries.

I replaced mine with a 100 watt panel w/controller. Ran separate wires and it does a good job of maintaining the batteries while in storage. It achieves what I wanted, and is expandable.

The panel will keep the house batteries chaged if they are fully charged, disconnect is activated and you have good sun exposure. Low sun any load and that little 15 watt panel does nothing. They are also cheap and not very durable.
