on my 01 Tradewinds, the fresh water tank drain is in the first storage compartment behind the entry door...on the right hand side, up high, behind a velcro'd on cover... hard to find without a flashlight (the first time)... reach in, turn the ball valve, tank drains....

This is correct for the Tradewinds. The cover is probably covered in the same carpeting as the bay or just a plain piece of painted paneling about 6x10 inches. Just remove the screws and behind the panel (maybe just out of site below the opening )will be the valve. Open faucets inside to be able to drain the entire tanks(2). YOU SHOULD SEE WATER COMING OUT BELOW THE HOSE (THE HOSE IS SHORTER THAN THE BAY).

Hope this clears it up - make sure to close the valve when you're done.

Bill

Went into the first bay and there is a panel there, so took out the screws only exposed where the tank was but no valve.
I then went to the water bay and not valve there either, so again back to the tested and true. I filled the f/w tank with 5 min. of water and opened the shower and put on the pump and drained the tank.
Seems ok now as the water tasted good, but now where the H is the drain valve for next time.

Now do not do as I did and leave the shower valves on, close the water bay and turn the water back on and come back 15 min. later only to see a cascade of water pouring out of the sewer pan in the water bay. Just lucky that the area is sloped and nothing else got wet.

BUT I'M STILL LOOKING FOR THE DRAIN VALVE OR EVEN A PLUG !!!!!!!!

Just on the off chance someone got funny check the drivers side front bay and
see if the drain valve is there. The only other thing to do is go under the unit and
see what has been done.

On my 1999 Tradewinds 7370, the drain valve is red and is sitting on a ledge up high on the right side of the first storage bay after the mid-entry door. You might mistake it for a gas valve.
