Driving from Orange county CA to napa valley
Hi, i just bought a used 2004 national seabreeze 31 footer with 70k miles and have not driven on a big trip yet... so i need some advice..
We have family in santa rosa area past san francisco. we are thinking to drive up for christmas and there would be 6 adults and 4 kids (under 7)
would 10 people riding in it for the trek be ok or do you think it will be too much weight?
sorry if this is a totally silly question!!!

DO NOT go through san fran proper! Go around it and enjoy the journey
OH and by the way, that's a gob of people in one rv. You can't poop without someone hearing it. If you're cool with that, go for it.

What's the old saying? 6 for conversation, 4 for dinner, 2 for sleeping.
After a year of moving around in an RV, I get it.
I think the RV will handle the weight just fine, it's the small small small space for that many people that will get you.
What if they followed you and slept in tents HAR HAR

Santa Rosa is in the Sonoma valley, not Napa valley.
Good advice to avoid SF proper. When we approach SF from the south, heading to the GG Bridge and north.....we take 280 to Daly City and hug the beach on the Great Highway to Lake St. Left on Park Presideo to get on the bridge and Hwy 101 to S.Rosa. (If you want to go to Napa, take Hwy 37 and follow signs)

Thanks for the info! Rohnert park is actually where we going. Not sure why I put napa valley. I think I subconsciously was thinking napa valley I guess. I just want to make sure the rv is able to make up the grapevine! 6 of the 10 will be sleeping in a house. Only 4 of us will be sleeping in rv.

Glad you're aboard. Congrats on the new to you rig. Only thought I have is how many seat belts do you have in the rig? Enjoy your adventures and be safe.

Make sure they all have seat belts.
Click it or Ticket!
THESE three people were NOT wearing their seat belts and now two are dead.
Pretty stupid if you ask me!

Actually, the law in most states reads that if seat belts are equipped they must be used. If they don't exist you should not get a ticket. That's the way it used to be, somebody chime in if they know it has changed.
