Send Terry (my wife) your info and she'll get you on the email list for future rallies. Her email is TravelingRosebud@gmail.com. The normal info; Name, coach and length, FMCA member?, and so on. (a full list of the info is in one of my first posts) Once you're signed up she'll send you the current member listing.

Even though we really don't "start" the rally until this afternoon we already have 6 coaches in the campground; an Islander, TropiCal, Tradewinds, Dolphin, and 2 SeaBreeze. We should have 11 or 12 in total, as the rest arrive today. The rain is clearing out, so it should be a great time!

So day one of our rally is done. We've got 11 MH here; 2 seabreeze, 1 Surf Side, 3 Dolphins, 1 Islander, and 4 Tradewinds. Had a great "cocktail" hour and the campground gave us use of a small Quonset hut (insulated with full kitchen) for the weekend. They also had a food truck come in parked out front. It was great meeting fellow National owners and folks from this website. We discussed the club and where we want to go from here, the next rally (May 14-18), what were reasonable overnight campground prices, and different locations for rallies.

Today is the "tour" through most everyone's rig, an afternoon tech discussion, and then a chili cook-off tonight! Then an RV movie.

I'll post some pictures in a day or so, as soon as someone shows me how to do it. Thanks to everyone who made the trip here, and let the fun continue!!

Well, today (Saturday) was a blast as well. At 11am was the tour through everyone's rig. That was great as everyone has done something to make their MH it their own. Steve and Kate Luebke, however, have pretty much done a complete rebuild of their 1999 Tradewinds and it is incredible!

In the afternoon we had a technical session, and we discussed proper black water tank usage, handling, electrical issues, and everything in between. It was very informative.

The chili cook-off was great as well, and we had 6 entries. The winner was Terri and Patrick Kaiser!

All-in-all a great day! Sunday we'll have breakfast at the Wafflehouse around the corner, then about half of us head out (some of us still have to work)

Our club is named The National RV Owners Group - "Old Nats" for short. Terri Kaiser has already set up a Facebook page for us, so more on that in the near future.

We will be at the FMCA rally in Lakeland beginning tomorrow - Sunday. Stop by and say hi if you are around. We will be camped in the handicapped section, supposedly across from the hangers.

We could maybe hold a rally once or twice a year in a warm location, say the Southeast US. So do we have anyone interested? If so send me a PM and we'll see where it might take us.

Where would I post a question about my hydraulic leveler cylinders and troubleshooting the warning buzzer?

I think it would be very cool to have a rally where we can chat about our Nationals (among other things). While we go to RV shows and such I'm still impressed by how solid our National is.

Well, our first rally was in the FL panhandle. The next one was slated to be in NC, but CoVid-19 put the skids to that right now. We plan on rallies in the SE US, so if you get down that far you could join us.
