Electric hot water heater control

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is an adjustment for the 120 V hot water heater on my Sea Breeze WR MH. It is much higher than 120 degrees
I have checked the owners manual and also looked the hot water heater over and found nothing. Perhaps it is non adjustable???

On many if not most of the water heaters the temp switch attached to the tank determines when the gas/electric shuts off.

The nice thing about the temp being high is that it makes the tank effectively a little larger when taking a shower.

Don't know WHICH brand of water heater you have so I will outline both.

Atwood.....
Uses one set of 12V DC t-stats for both electric/propane heating control (Since 2004---prior model years used separate sets. 120V AC & a 12V DC)
The t-stat (normal temp) OPENS at 140*F stopping all heating. It CLOSES at ~110*F to allow reheating cycle....either electric, propane or both at same time. (Brown wires)
The ECO (Energy Cut Off --- HI temp) OPENS at 180*F shutting down ALL heating and 'locks out' any further heating. Triggers 'Fault light' at on/off panel. It CLOSES at ~150*F and then 'fault' can be reset by turning ON/OFF switch off then back on. It is the back up t-stat to stop excessive heating.
If it operates it means 'normal' t-stat has failed. (Red wires)

Atwood does have an optional 'normal' t-stat ----
A 130*F preset one.....part number 91470
An Adjustable one....110*F to 150*F ---- part number 93105
Both are straight replacements for the 't-stat'------ECO remains the same

NOW if you have an Atwood XT model......different temp settings
The 't-stat' OPENS at 160*F (Closes at ~130*F). This HIGH temp water feeds a MIXING Valve that is factory set at 130*F
The ECO is same as standard WH.......OPENS at 180*F.....fault light/locks out etc.
The XT model heats water to a higher temp to allow for LONGER supply of hot water (controlling output to 130*F) so a 6 gallon is equivalent to 10 (10=16)
No optional t-stat.....standard WH t-stat can be used IF mods are made

Suburban .......
Uses a 120V AC set of t-stats for electric heating
Uses a 12V DC set of t-stats for propane
Normal t-stats OPEN at 130*F-----CLOSES at ~100*F for reheat cycle
High T-stats OPEN at 180*F ----CLOSES at ~150*F but have to be 'manually' reset after they open (Push to Reset on cover over t-stats)
Left set is for electric (black wires) and right set is for propane (red wires)
Electric and propane can be operated separately or both at same time

An optional 120*F t-stat is no longer available
An optional 140*F t-stat is available
120V AC electric set....part number 232317
12V DC propane set....part number 232319

Both Brands also have 'motor aid ' versions. Uses motorhome engine hot coolant that flows thru a 'U' tube on backside of WH Tank to heat water while in transit.....130*F can be achieved
