Electric steps

i have a 99 seaview with the factory original electric one step. it works
perfectly with no problems.

however i would like to have a two step instead of just one step.

i believe my step is a kwikee brand.

here is my question. i do have another single step that i would like to add
underneath my one step. can i just buy the brackets and add my other
step underneath? i think that this will be a lot cheaper than having to buy
a brand new 2 step kwikee unit as i see em on amazon and ebay for upward
of $700.

has anyone added a second step and what brackets do u need to add
the second step. thanks for any help or suggestions.

i dont know if i can find any brackets to add the second step??

I don't believe you'll find anything to modify your existing steps .

Question

The two step model will put the bottom step about 7" closer to the ground ; when parked do you always have 7" of clearance under your single step ?

Many adjustable ground elevation products available ; have you considered one of those?

While you can buy used Kwikee double steps from https://rvexteriorbodypanels.visoner...n/f/search.pl?
Do you have the space between the plate on the RV to which the step attaches and the ground? You need at least 16". I wanted to also install a 2 step system, but only have about 14.5".
