emergency exit

I have an 04 Sea Breeze 1341 that I bought used and must admit I have never tried the emergency exits. If I open the exit, does the window just swing open or does it fall to the ground. After reading the story on RV.Net about the 3 people that died in a fire I am going to try them ASAP.

Thank You

Rich

Mine is hinged. Look at yours and you will see if it is as well.

Thanks for the reminder, I've been meaning to check all my exits...Just did and they're all easy to operate.

I used to drive buses and the state inspector would aways check to see if the exits operated easily..If they tend to stick a little silicone on the rubber seals works well. I've done pre-drives on buses that weren't inspected regularly and the escape windows were stuck so bad I was afraid I'd break them getting them open.
