Engine will not start

Was planning on driving my 2003 Tradewinds over to have alignment performed and for the first time in the 10 years I have owned the coach the engine would not start. I have a Cat 330 Turbo and when I attempt to crank the oil pressure and oil temp gauges have a red warning light and the gauge jumps back and forth between 80 and 120 on the pressure gauge and 180 to 230 on the temp. I also noticed the speedometer and tach bouncing back and forth. Any ideas?

Sorry to hear of your problem. I'll be watching to learn why this is happening to you.

How old are the chassis batteries? Sounds like the batteries are low or the ground is bad.

I have 2001 Tradewinds with 330 cat. You may have a problem with the computer connections. I have had to use contact grease on the plugs to correct issues like you are seeing. On our Tradewinds the computer control module is in the bay that the inverter is located in.

Checked controller connections in that bay. They were fine. Pulled chassis batteries and cleaned all posts. Tested batteries, all good. Checked voltage on pins on ECM and had proper voltage. Problem no resolved.
