Exhaust leaks from the donuts on an 8.1 motor are some times caused by
worn out motor mounts. If the motor moves while accelerating or shifting
it wears out the donuts. Some thing has to give.
Check out how to test them on You Tube.
Replace them with poly urethane ones and they will last forever.
PS: you will have an increase in torque as that energy wasted on motor
twist will now go to the drive shaft.
