Fan water leak, bedroom slide leak

2006 Dolphin 5320
With all the rain here in Florida we have developed a leak from the main shaft of the interior drivers fan. Not sure where to look on the roof to either caulk or use eternabond. Also on the bedroom slide under the side drawer is a slow leak. Have checked the rubber seals on the outside and they are flush, not sure where else to check. Hope someone can give me some help. Thanks

Nancy

As for your driver's fan leak, check the caulking on the horns on top of the front cap. (If you have them. They look like air horns) Small cracks develop in the sealant and allow water to enter. This has happened to me in the past.

Can't help you on the slide.

Also, check the end-cap seam that connects the end cap to the roof and EternaBond tape it side to side if needed. Just did that on my coach. Rook

Another also, check the front amber clearance light assemblies, ie, cracked or broken.
For the rear slide, the top of the slide has rubber roofing material used on many RVs. Often rain water can pool on top of the slide under the topper awning. I found the Dicor chalking at one end of the slide top was not done well allowing water to leak into the ceiling of the slide then down to various places. With the slide in, I needed a bright light and a mirror to see the problem spot.

Thanks to all who replied. I have caulked the horn area and the seal on the top of the slide part way was turned under rather than being flush. It hasn't rain sine repairs made but hopefully this will solve the problem. If not I'll be back.
