Fantastic fan roof vent

Does anyone know what roof vent you can safely use with an automatic fantastic vent with rain sensor? . I have had vent covers over top of fantastic fans before but not the automatic. The more I have read on covers the more I have become confused. Sun degradation in a couple years seems common . Some you can’t mount do to rain sensor would be damaged. Some interferes with the total opening of the vent lid. Looking for suggestions. This is in a Dolphin 5355.

Why do you need the sensor?

Don’t need the sensor but I don’t want to destroy it by screwing something into it. Over the yeArs I have found that an Rv vent cover is very convenient both in rain and during storage. Actually a humid day can be enough to set off the rain sensor and close the vent.. what I need is a recommendation for a decent cover. One that won’t harm the vent when it opens under automatic. I love the fan just want to be able to leave it open in traveling in rain etc..
