The roof skin is not glued in place. It is floating so it can expand and contract with temperature changes and not stress the seams.
Everything mounted on the roof pins it down and those bubbles down the full length of each side are there to allow for expansion and contraction.
When you walk on the roof, stay about 6 inches from the edge to not stress the expansion bubble.
I have the Mfrs brochure. It is a purpose built roof skin, not just another fiberglass panel.
