fresh water tank

fresh water tank leaking back out thru city water inlet. anybody know what this could be? thanks

sounds like a bad check valve .... probably behind panel that has selector valve in util cargo compartment. If so, it may be easier to add an inline check valve near the fresh water tank. In my case that is easily accessible near the water pump.

mine did the same thing had to replace the city intake valve. easy to do and just take the old one out and go to any RV parts dealer and get the part

Disconnect city water hose at inlet and push check valve plunger in a couple of times. Should clear out whatever impediment is keeping the check valve from seating properly.
