Front Clearance lights

Around my motor-home, all lights work EXCEPT the front clearance lights on the top of the coach. Can't seem to locate a specific fuse for them or diagnose the issue, and I don't want to pay $120 an hour to have it done...

The first step would be to remove one and confirm if there is 12V or not. If there is power, maybe new lights are in order. Check for power, go from there.

I can do that...but first let’s assume there is no power...where/what would I look at?

Probably just corrosion build up, or loose bulbs...maybe the lenses aren't sealed well enough

Do you have side, rear and parking lights? If you do, the lights on the front have power as they all work together. Remove one light and confirm there's power. Not much point in looking for a fuse if all the rest of the lights are working.

On my NRV the front and back lights are on separate fuses located below the drivers seat in outside compartment. Ground your 12 volt tester on the buss bar and start checking. Had issue twice over the years. A bad ground is always a good first look as well.

Suggestion - Get on the ladder take a picture and order replacements - Look to see if you can get LED's - My guess is that on a 2005 Bulbs are burned out Gasket is shot and connections are corroded. Good chance that they are shot - and they Leak.....

When the replacement bulbs come just clean up the connections - replace the Bulbs and put the New light and New Gasket in and all will be fine.

You may ask me "How do I Know?" Look at my signature - 2005 - been there done that.

Hope this helps.
