Front LCD TV Install in a 2005 Sea Breeze 8321LX

Back in Sept 2011, I posted a thread on how I changed out my TV in my 2005 Sea Breeze. It's an old thread so I'm not allowed to change it or reply to it.

I have been asked to repost my pictures, so hopefully, I can share the pictures here in this new thread.

I used Photobucket to share my pictures. Just recently Photobucket changed their user policies and blocked all pictures. Photobucket really screwed a lot of threads on these forum boards. They no longer allow 3rd Party Image sharing without the user paying $399 a year. Pretty much extortion as far as I'm concerned; kind of like RansomWare.

That said, here is a link to my new photo sharing service showing all the pictures I took while changing out the TV. I'm sorry that they are not in order.

ps I have since sold the Sea Breeze and bought a 2007 Tropical. I did the same TV change out but didn't use the same cuts to the frame as I did in the Sea Breeze. I did similar cuts as Jeepster47 did in post #15 of my original thread.

@coulter6, I'm pretty sure I used your post as a guideline to change out the tube TV for a Samsung LCD TV in our '05 Sea Breeze. In looking at the National RV owners forum recently, I see that there is still a need for this information.

Here are 2 posts (with pictures) that I made on our Travel Blog - that I haven't really kept up with (but that's beside the point). After removing the tube TV we carried that thing around in the back of our Tiguan for about 4 months until we were at a place where we could get rid of it

Since this post, I have added a new oak panel - stained to match the rest of the wood - to the spot on the ceiling where the TV used to stick out too. I haven't yet added a soundbar, but that is in the works for an upcoming upgrade.

The iRV2 forums never disappoint and have valuable information ... this is just a small way for me to give back for all the good things I have learned.
