Front Window(s) gaskets (98 Tradewinds)

Hey Guys...
Both of my front windows have just started to pop out from frame of coach. Windows themselves are fine, not cracked or chipped, just needs a re-bed... Have had a bitch of a time finding someone who wants to take on the job over here on East Coast FL. One company will, no warranty on breaking, but told me I need to get gaskets (New) for them... Is there such a thing still available or can't they make their own if they know the thickness of the glass... Just a bit confused...

Thanks in advance!!

Had the same issue with my Tradewinds.
Someone still makes the gasket. Mine was dry rotted and needed replacing.
A windshield shop ordered one for me for $350 in 2016.
The gasket is one piece including the center piece.
I've had to have the windshield reset a couple times. Usually that requires both sides to be removed and reset.
No one has ever been willing to guarantee any part of the process and I had to assume the liability of breakage should one of the windshields crack. Likewise, no one will guarantee that the glass will stay seated. That's kind of fair since the driver/operator can easily cause one or both to pop out.
I've learned to be very careful with any flexing of the frame while leveling or driving. In doing so, I've got a couple years and about 20,000 miles in without any new problems. That said, I'm sure I'll get there again in the future. Fortunately, the gasket is good for about 15 years.
The most important thing is to find a shop that has experience with gasketed split windshields.

That's fair enough.... I agree with the installler on assuming the no warranty part. The guy at the glass shop who would take on the job suggested I call my insurance company and have them order me the gaskets(?) Not sure that this would fall into an insurance claim(?) Anyways, the guy was pretty rude on the phone and I hate to give business to someone that started off on the wrong end with me, but it looks like I'm stuck... Thanks for the info!

Try Duncan RV Glass. I have seen other owners say they are very professional. They show there is a location in FL.
