Angry Fuel Filters

Hello all,
HELP: Can someone tell me which two replacement fuel filters I need for my 2004 National Tradewinds LTC with Cummins 8.3 . I am being given incorrect info from Parts Houses.
Also maybe someone can tell me where to find the ENGINE serial number.
I don't have much hair left to pull out.
My grateful thanks in advance.

I called the manufacturer and gave them the vin.they gave me the transmission and engine serial numbers. Also might want to check pilot and loves as they sell 3 or 4 of the most popular sizes.

The serial number for the ISC is located on the top side of the gear housing. Looking at the engine from the front (rear of coach on a dp), the gear housing is to the right of the crank pulley where the Cummins name is stamped and the oil filler is located. The data plate is on the top edge of that housing and wraps around the right side.

You have a 2004 coach so your engine could be a CAPS fuel system or a common rail, as that was a change over year. They use different spec filters so that may be why you are getting conflicting information.

Get the serial number and contact Cummins. As you know, the manufacturer is long out of business.
