He could be right. Those gauges are on a J1587 databus that feeds through the Message Center (MC).

Are the lights on the MC (indicator lamp panel) working properly? If so, it's getting data from the Vehicle Data Computer (VDC). If it were not, it would cause the lights to 'dance' or chase after a 45 seconds data loss.

All of those gauges are on a four-wire spider harness. Each gauge is addressed on the same databus. All of the gauge connectors are the same, it's the gauge itself that determines the function.

If the MC is working I would suspect the spider harness 5-pin connector at the Message Center (indicator lamp panel). Remove, clean and re-seat the connector with the engine and ignition off. This just might solve your problem.

You have Freightliner Custom Chassis System III instruments. If you want a part number for the MC you can call Freightliner in Gaffney (864-487-1700). Have the last six characters of your VIN handy (it will start with F). Don't call a Freightliner Truck service center, it has to be Gaffney.

If you're comfortable with vehicle electrical and instrumentation I can send you troubleshooting materials.

I think I misread your question.
You can likely find a good used MC at Colaw in Missouri 877.548.2125 or Visone RV (606) 843-9889. Both have RV salvage yards.

Thank you very much for your help. I am having a hard time finding this part. I have emails with pictures sent to several rv salvage companies hopefully we’ll find it. Again thank you.

I was afraid of that just as I clicked on Submit Reply I realized it was the newer version. Ugh. I'll keep looking.

My fuel gauge and temp gauge did not work on my 1998 Tradewinds I installed a Scan Gauge D that plugs into your computer port under the dash or at the motor It not only show proper fuel level but how many miles to empty and accurate temp, oil and transmission temp and keeps up with the MPG accurately. Cost on sale ordered thru Advance Auto was $119.00 I assume you have a diesel.
