Has anyone pulled a NP-66 Generator out and worked on it? This is in a 01 NRV in front frame rails. Replaced voltage regulator a few years ago but I am not convinced it is the same issue this time. Starts and runs, fuses, breakers and transfer switch checked. Tried to energize the fields several times but a no go.
A friend said it likely needs to come out and be brushed and cleaned. I would appreciate advice from anyone who had done this.
