The acrylic handles can be purchased but I decided to replace mine with stainless steel.
I mounted the old one on a piece of wood and took it to an exhaust shop. They bent a piece of stainless up for me quite nicely. Cost about $80.00 but I will never need to replace. If you went for steel and painted, you could probably do for much less than what I paid.

Check mine for markings or numbers....nothing. It appears to be the 5500 with the long pointed bottom mount. Rook

It is the 5500...measure your spacing inside the chrome ends (following the curve of the handle) should be 11-3/8 long. Just a note: you have to be a little handy with some tools. I had to shape the ends like the original to make it fit. I used a Dremel with cutting disc and file and sanding disc.
Ask me how I know, but now I have a spare. Just too bad the shipping is the same as the part ($15 each).
Goode luck with the repair.

Thanks for the leads! The grab handle on my '99 Tropi-Cal broke this weekend and I was concerned that I would not be able to find a replacement!
