Help what is this plug for ?

This plug is in my entertainment cabinet by the television but I don't understand what it is for. There is a small button on the outlet, in is on and out is off. Plus there is a place to screw and antenna lead into. Along with a 12 V Power plug, if someone were to help me I might actually have television tonight . So thanks in advance for any assistance given.

TV antenna amplifier

It has a 12 volt Cigarette plug that you could plug a TV (or anything else) into.

The button is for power for the internal TV antenna amplifier, and also switches between your antenna and an external cable connector (if you have one)

There may also be a small led indicator light to show its turned on. Your TV antenna feeds this.

The cable connector on this panel is the TV antenna OUT, i.e. it goes to your TV set
