help with factory stereo replacement in 99 tradewinds 7370

first , no luck with search on here ( kinda limited)

who has figured out what dash kits and wiring kits that work for single din unit and any steps to get the factory stereo out ?

Can you post the brand (+ model # ) or a photo .

I know the trick for my factory Sony , with removable face plate.

yep , I already figured out it is 1.5 din , i was trying to figure out how to get the dash up , there is not a name brand on the stereo

was wondering if anyone has done that

ok I got it out , it is a Audiovox gc-600 and the open is 7 7/8" x 3"

anyone ever figure out a single din mounting kit for that ?

, I spent this evening cutting a aluminum piece to convert my single din kenwood to mount in dash , I am currently waiting on the rust-o-lum black hammer finish to dry , I used 8 black PC fan screws to mount it they work great in that plastic , it is like it is all one piece with the dash now

the audiovox had L brackets on the back of that panel that had nuts and clips that had to be popped out after you remove the brackets

4 of them , 2 on the sides and 2 on the bottom

then it sides out
