Help with National slideout

Help with National slideout
My 2006 National Surf Side dining room slide out will not retract all the way in. See photos. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Ours had the same problem. I remembered reading a post about someone else's slide which said to run it all of the way out holding the button for a extra few seconds then bringing it in the same way. I also lubed the drive while it was out. Ours is gear driven. Skipped a notch. No damage. Did not recur.

Can you explain what you had to do to "fix" the problem with the slide not returning to the full in position?

Who was the manufacture on your slide. I am trying to determine the manufacture of the slides on my 2005 tropical XL T 398. Indont have any books
