Does anyone know the best way to change the fuel filters on a 2005 Tropical with a 350 cat engine.

I added a primer pump to mine then just change them dry and pump them up. Inital cost was about an extra $70 but now I don't have to worry about installing them wet or air locking the system.

I just changed mine last week(2005 Tropical 35).They are somewhat hard to access.I changed the primary/water seperator from underneath(near the right rear jack),carefully remove the plastic bowl first, then spin the cartrige off.The secondary/engine mounted filter can be accessed from inside the bedroom (at least on my 35), there is a hatch door in the floor between the bed and closet, the filter is directly under it,it is a spin on as well.I made the mistake of assuming it was self bleeding as most newer light duty diesel trucks are,but that is not the case.I ended up taking the bleed plug out of the engine mounted filter and pulled a vacuum there(with a fluid pump I have for changing my boat oil) to draw the fuel up. Before the next filter change I am going to get the primer pump that bdpreece mentioned, it bolts to the top of the engine filter housing and makes the job easier.
