Installing a 47" LED TV
Both me and the BOSS are tired of the kinks in our necks watching TV hanging up front. Thinking of installing a small cabinet on the passenger's side where the recliner use to be. The cabinet needs to be big enough to let our 47" LED TV sit on it and I'll run the cable over through the overhead cabinets. When we travel it will lay on the bed just like the 32" has done for 2 years that I hang where the old TV was.
Anyone done this??? Any thoughts??

Not quite 47" but we like it a lot. The TV is on a remote controlled device so it stores in the cabinet to travel. The cabinet is where the old recliner was and the two lazyboys are where the old couch was.
I have been told these TV's don't like to lay on their side.

If I wanted a large flat screen in my RV I would do something like Dennis shows with a motorized lift behind a couch or cabinet. Morryde markets a variety of TV mounts, including a motorized lift.

The complete remodel was done by Truline in Spokane. All the cabinet work was done at their facility. They used a lift Model L-23 by Nexus21. This lift was a little more pricy than some but it uses less travel height which was an issue they had to overcome.
