Interested in a 1999 Tradewinds

The CL ad is here:1999 Tradewinds Diesel

I m a first time diesel buyer.. I am curious as to the quality of this unit as it came from the factory. This one seems in good shape, but are there any issues with this model I should look out for?

Thank you all for your responses!

I own a 99 tropical which was a gasser but the general quality level of the National product was very decent. They weren't top of the line but I think they used some rather novel construction materials including steel roof members. Solid foam insulation
and a form of plastic material for their compartment doors. The bottom line is that even though mine had a leak that I had to get fixed in the roof, it didn't result in any of the damages you hear about with rotting wood, soaked insulation and such.

I don't think you will be disappointed. Most National owners speak pretty highly of their machines.

That right angle kitchen configuration allows for a decent sized galley with prep space. They are highly usable machines. Not as flashy as some but good honest workers for sure.

Wow.....sounds and looks very good. If it is as described, never wrecked, etc., that's a great price and it will not last long. A personal inspection and a discussion with the owner will verify it's condition. I love mine. 145,000 miles and running strong. Rook

Great price:
There are two things that come to mind, they crack a little from the top right cover of the refrigerator towards the window.
When leveling be sure to raise the front first before the rear or you will have windshield problems.
The plus side is the coach is well built and just about everything used in them is
available.
