Inverter failure

I have a dimensions unlimited 600 watt inverter in my 2004 8321 Seabreeze LX.

It has always worked fine running my 32 inch plasma TV a dish DVR and a RCA VCR. Today I plugged in a battery charger for my drill and after about a minute the circuit went dead.

I went to the Inverter thinking I needed to reset the GFCI but it will not reset, the buttons are spongy, they will not click on and off. The is a small "Output" breaker above the GFCI but it does not help.

I am not sure what is blown:

Is it the Inverter?

Is it the GFCI

Or is there another circuit breaker behind the DC Panel located in the same compartment.

The only way I can activate this circuit was to unplug the cord from the invertor and plug it into another 110 circuit and turn on my generator. Therefore my problem is at the invertor or before. There is no circuit tripped in the electric panel.

Please help with your advice.

Sam

Were you connected to shore power while running your inverter, are you connected to shore power now. You need power in order to re set GFCI do any any of your outlets have 110 volt power, you also should have GFCI in the kitchen and bathroom areas.
