Inverter going bad?

The inverter in my 2004 Dolphin LX seems to be on the outs. If I put a meter on it, I only get 96.4 VAC. Not sure if that's normal? I believe it's the stock unit, 600watts.

If it is going bad, any suggestions for a replacement?

On a modified sine wave your standard meter will read low.
At 96.4 give or take sounds about right for a reading.
