Leaking fresh water tank 2006 Seabreeze

Anyone have problems with cracks in fresh water tank? What is tank made of? 36 foot side halol 2006 Seabreeze LX .

I haven't read where anybody has anything but a plastic freshwater tank. My 2000 5er had plastic tanks for fresh/grey/black. Same with my 2004 MH. Aluminum or stainless steel would be too expensive and steel would rust.

I guess it's possible you have a leak. But I doubt it on a MH your age. Could be a connection is leaking or maybe a crack where the water leaves the tank. I have to admit I never heard of a bad tank. But I guess it could happen.

The tank is most likely polyethelene, as most are. I think a fitting has gone bad. The tanks are pretty flexible, but if you DO have a crack they can only be repaired by ultrasonic welding. Never try to patch with fiberglas resin - won't work.
