Learn something new every day...
Went our to move my coach out of our barn so a horse trainer could work with some horses and their owners in there.
Fired up the engine, and a dash light was on: "Engine Power Reduced". Hmmm, I thought thats odd. Oh well, who needs full power just to roll out of the barn? I'll worry about it later.
Raised the jacks, release the parking brake, and another light comes on: "Range Inhibit". Hmm, what's that mean? (Meanwhile, 8 impatient people and 2 uninterested horses are looking on.)
Drop it into D..... step on the gas.... Engine revs..... Nothing. Panic sets in. OMG, what's wrong with my coach?
I look over at the copilot seat. It's rotated around in camping mode. Could it be the seats must both be facing forward? I rotate the seat around to copilot mode, hop back in the drivers seat, drop it in D, and drive off. Who knew? Learn something new every day.
I'm thinking about changing the 'Range Inhibit' light to say 'Rotate the Copilot'.

You might want to add "Chair" to that.

How surprising..who would have thought of that... never read it in a manual. I may have to try it myself.
Thanks

More than likely you got the message because you had low voltage from the battery, after the engine ran the battery took a surface charge, the ECM reset and your message went away. National RV did not put switches on the seats other than adjustable power seats.

I keep my coach on shore power all the time while stored. I guess I need to invest in a Trik-L-Start to keep my chassis battery topped off.
Thanks for the info.
